Poland’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has issued urgent travel guidance for its citizens regarding Iran and the broader Persian Gulf region, citing ongoing unrest and safety concerns.
Immediate Travel Warning for Iran
In an official statement on social media, the ministry urged Polish nationals to leave Iran immediately and warned against traveling to the country. The ministry emphasized that current conditions pose significant risks to foreign visitors.
“Reminder: leave Iran immediately, do not travel there now – Postpone travel TO and THROUGH the Persian Gulf”
The ministry also advised citizens to postpone any travel to or through the Persian Gulf, highlighting potential safety risks in the region due to unrest in Iran.
Registration and Support
Polish citizens traveling abroad are reminded to register with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to receive timely updates and assistance in case of emergencies.
