Texas Republican Bo French issued a sharply worded warning in response to remarks from former United States Ambassador to the United Nations Susan Rice. French wrote, “Just like a Bolshevik, she is saying they plan to round up MAGA and kill them when they are back in power,” referring to a clip in which Rice said Democrats would hold accountable voters, business leaders, and appointees who support President Donald Trump’s 2024 election mandate.

Rice, in the interview, stressed that Democratic leadership would pursue an accountability agenda rather than “forgive and forget.” She said, “The damage that these people are doing is too severe to the American people and to our national interest,” emphasizing that corporations, universities, media organizations, and other elites who acted against Democratic priorities could face consequences if Democrats regain control of the House or Senate. Rice added that while enforcement would follow the law, those who violated principles or acted in self-interest would be “held accountable.”

The former ambassador’s comments came amid a broader discussion about governance, the rule of law, and perceived threats to American institutions. She noted concerns about what she described as lawlessness and abuses of authority under the previous administration, including violations of constitutional rights, the use of armed forces against civilians, and limited resistance from both private and civil society sectors. Rice highlighted the importance of citizen mobilization and peaceful protest, pointing to demonstrations in Minnesota as examples of effective public engagement against perceived state overreach.
French’s characterization of Rice’s remarks drew a historical comparison to the Bolshevik Revolution in Russia, framing the Democratic plan as one of ideological retribution. The 1917 Bolshevik Revolution led to one of the most severe campaigns of persecution against religious groups in modern history. Between 1917 and 1953, an estimated 60 million people were killed and 66 million imprisoned, with half of the victims being Christians. At the peak of Soviet anti-Christian campaigns, 88 percent of Russian Orthodox churches were closed, 400 leaders of unregistered Baptist churches were imprisoned, and about 10,000 Christians were sent to Siberian gulags or exiled. Some 1,000 were confined in psychiatric wards in acts of state-sanctioned cruelty.
60 million Christians were killed by the Bolsheviks – that’s just a fact.

Why is there no special day of remembrance for that?
The Holodomor was a horrific event that’s never discussed or acknowledged by any world leader.
Why is that?
French, a Republican candidate for the Texas Railroad Commission, has built his political profile on strong rhetoric concerning immigration, national identity, and opposition to Democratic policies. He has previously called for mass denaturalization and deportation of millions. The Railroad Commission, despite its name, primarily regulates oil and gas production in Texas, one of the largest energy-producing states in the country.
French’s latest post reinforces his messaging strategy of framing political opposition as existential threats. His comments tie directly to the broader debate over political accountability and partisan conflict in the United States, with Democrats emphasizing the enforcement of rules and consequences for perceived wrongdoing, while French portrays these measures as extreme and reminiscent of historical authoritarianism. The exchange underscores the increasingly heated rhetoric shaping U.S. politics in the lead-up to the 2026 election cycle.
