The Department of Homeland Security has launched a new initiative offering illegal immigrants in the United States an opportunity to return to their home countries or another country where they have lawful status with financial and logistical support. Through the CBP Home Mobile App, participants can receive cost-free travel, forgiveness of any failure-to-depart fines, and a $2,600 exit bonus. The program is intended to provide a safe and orderly alternative to deportation.

DHS is offering a HUGE incentive for illegal aliens to leave now — receive $2,600 and a FREE flight home if you remigrate using the CBP Home app.

Secretary Kristi Noem emphasized the urgency and benefits of the program, saying, “If you are here illegally, use the CBP Home App to take control of your departure and receive financial support to return home. If you don’t, you will be subjected to fines, arrest, deportation and will never be allowed to return. If you are in this country illegally, self-deport NOW and preserve your opportunity to potentially return the legal, right way.”
Non-criminal illegal aliens who submit their intent to depart through the CBP Home Mobile App and pass vetting will be temporarily deprioritized by Immigration and Customs Enforcement for detention or enforcement actions before their scheduled departure. Those who register for voluntary self-departure through the app will have their travel arranged in a timely manner, ensuring they can wrap up work, school, and personal matters before leaving the country.
The program is designed to let participants return home as regular travelers, without arrest, detention, or restraints. Civil fines for failure to depart after a final removal or voluntary departure order will be forgiven, and eligible individuals will not have to pay these fines. The CBP Home Mobile App allows users to plan their return in an orderly and lawful way, giving them flexibility and assistance rather than fear of enforcement.
Officials described the initiative as a historic opportunity for illegal immigrants to leave the country voluntarily while avoiding the legal consequences typically associated with deportation. The program aims to streamline departures, reduce the need for enforcement resources, and provide a humane alternative for individuals who have no criminal history.
