Republican Senator Lindsey Graham from South Carolina appeared on Fox News’ Hannity program, where he delivered a direct warning to Iran’s leadership regarding the treatment of protesters in the country.
During the segment, Graham contrasted President-elect Donald J. Trump with former President Barack Obama, stating: “Donald J. Trump is not Barack Obama. He has your back.”
Addressing the Ayatollahs specifically, Graham said: “You need to understand: if you keep killing your people who are demanding a better life, Donald J. Trump will kill you!”
Graham further described potential developments in Iran, noting: “Change is coming to Iran. It would be the biggest change in the history of the Middle East to get rid of this Nazi regime.”
He concluded his remarks by speaking directly to Iranian citizens: “To the people of Iran: help is on the way!”
