Kirill Dmitriev Responds to EU Threat With “Daddy Trump” Remark

Kirill Dmitriev issued a sharply worded response to comments made by Harald Viereck Fehlinger regarding U.S. military bases in Europe, framing Fehlinger’s remarks as a threat against former President Donald Trump and the United States.

Dmitriev wrote:

“This clown is threatening Daddy Trump with the EU confiscating all U.S. military bases in Europe.

Clown degradation.”

The statement directly references comments made by Fehlinger, who outlined a scenario in which European countries would seize American military bases if the United States were to take Greenland.

Harald Viereck Fehlinger’s Statement on U.S. Military Bases

Fehlinger stated:

“If you take it, we’ll take every single base of the Americans from Aviano to Ramstein. From Romania, all the other military bases will be confiscated and you will lose them. And the whole position of American power since World War II.”

“But if you’re taking Greenland, then you have to leave. It’s very simple, Mr. Miller. This is the leverage we have. You need these spaces for global power projection, but you won’t have it.”

“And we can defend ourselves very well, and we will do that without the U.S. nuclear shield, without the U.S. troops in Europe, without the American bases.”

He concluded with a warning of escalation:

“We will simply run these bases ourselves and we run your boys home into Chicago and Ohio and goodbye. If you go extreme, we go extreme as well. Be sure about it.”

Dmitriev’s Remarks

Dmitriev’s response reduced Fehlinger’s statement to what he described as a degrading provocation, emphasizing the framing of Trump as “Daddy Trump” and dismissing the threat as coming from a “clown.”

His remarks focused solely on Fehlinger’s language and the implication of confiscating U.S. military bases in Europe, offering no additional commentary beyond the quoted reaction.
